So what’s the difference between red or white clover?
To be honest, they are very similar, so if you have better access to one or the other you have access to clover’s general healing properties. Both plants are highly nutritious, contain powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and make lovely honey!
Red clover is in general the more commonly known medicine of the two plants. It is especially noted for its ability to help ease a host of menopausal symptoms from hot flashes and night sweats to osteoporosis and irritability.
White clover is considered to have the better taste and is more popularly used in cakes and baking. It is also commonly used for treating cold symptoms and as a gentle eye wash for soothing irritated eyes.
