Chinese New Year is a two-week festival that celebrates the harvest of the past year and the beginning the New Year. It includes cleaning homes, celebrating family and business associations, paying off debts, purchasing new clothes, hanging lanterns, giving oranges and gifts of money, lighting fire crackers, special foods and meals and dancing dragons, all in preparation for ushering in a prosperous New Year.
Each year is associated with a creature from the twelve-year Chinese Zodiac System. This year is the year of the Rooster.
The Rooster is the tenth sign in the Chinese zodiac. It includes all those born in 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 and this year, 2017. Those born in the year of the Rooster are loyal, committed, hard working, have strong family values and care about their personal appearance.
2017 is the year of the Rooster. It will be another powerful year with little middle ground for moving forward. Impressions will count, so look your best and be clear about your intentions for love, business and money. It is a year to focus on practical and well-proven paths, not risky ventures, if you want to be successful.
May this New Year bring you prosperity and health!
From all of us at EWHA,
Happy Chinese New Year!
And many thanks for your support.
