Red and white clovers have overlapping properties. Both are edible, highly nutritious, and can treat coughs, nausea, and dizziness associated with colds and flu. Both are useful for purifying and cleansing blood. Red clover is most frequently used to treat menopausal symptoms. White clover is most frequently used to bake with as it is considered to have the better flavor. White clover is also particularly used as an eyewash and to help ease aching joints and arthritis. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, clover is used as a tonic and remedy for respiratory infections.
