The Tree of Life is an ancient symbol used in both science and shamanism to indicate the development of the Body, Mind, or Spirit of any living being. This is My Tree of Life.

Adopted by Dr. & Mrs. Christensen. Grew up visiting hospitals and patients with my dad.

Attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart for girls. Volunteered at the local hospital visiting patients and working in the Emergency Room.

Attended Sarah Lawrence College. Loved living in New York City during the summers and after my mom’s stroke, which left her right side paralyzed and her speech permanently impaired, I became even more inspired to support my own health and social values by becoming a vegetarian.

Received my MFA from UCLA. Learned more about my body through discovering yoga and the power of breath for voice, health and balance. As a Teacher’s Assistant, I taught the Linklater and Alexander Technique methods for posture, breath and freeing the voice.

My interest in yoga, breath and chanting led me to apprentice with Christopher Hills, Ph.D., D. Sc., known as the “Father of Spirulina” and founder of the company Light Force, known for its spirulina based products. He was founder of the University of the Trees (an accredited college renowned for its programs in human consciousness with a focus on the science of the healing powers of energy).

In Dr. Hills’ company I studied nutrition and radionics (the use of radio waves, electro-magnetic waves and subtle energies to facilitate healing). I also studied Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, meditation and chanting. As I became more familiar with the nature of consciousness and techniques for energetic healing, I knew I wanted to learn more.

Received my Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, N.M. becoming a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbs, Taoism, and nutrition.

Studied shamanism and shamanic healing with among others: Michael Harner (Author and founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies), Sandra Ingerman (Author and graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies), Martin Prechtel (Author and recognized Mayan Shaman) and culturally with the local Pueblo Indian tribes.

First of several visits to Belize. A beautiful place to enjoy nature, Mayan healing practices, culture and history. Scuba dived, visited Mayan temples and caves, and enjoyed bird sanctuaries. Made a special visit to Rosita Arvigo’s botanical herb garden, school and clinic. Rosita Arvigo is an author and a respected American healer who studied herbs and healing with a local Mayan shaman healer.

Became Professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at Bastyr University, as well as supported the Universities programs on health, wellness and TCM through their public speaking forums. Developed my Private Practice for healing integrating TCM, Shamanic techniques, acupuncture, herbs, massage, and other forms of energetic healing.

Rode my bike across Italy, twice! Explored Italian food, the countryside and ancient Roman culture. Honored my religious roots and appreciation for devotion with visits to Assis, and the many chapels and basilicas all across Italy, with a special visit to the Vatican and of course, the Cistine Chapel.

With a focus on integrating my training in healing with my spiritual experiences and practices I stepped out of daily life to turn my attention to meditation, yoga and healthy living in order to be better able to assist and facilitate healing for and with others.

Launched White Rabbit Institute of Healing™ to bring together worldwide like-minded people interested in sharing information and experiences about becoming healthy, staying healthy and healing others by integrating scientific, energetic, herbal and Ancient Traditional and Shamanic healing practices in order to heal the body, mind and spirit.
